Busy Season
I can’t believe it’s December already. November was an intense month. I ended my employment at that direct marketing firm I worked at for 18 months. I will miss all the amazing Web Designers I worked with not to mention the steady paycheck and benefits. But most of all I’ll miss commuting with, having lunch with, and generally being a coworker-with-benefits to my beautiful wife.
So, we’re off into the wild grey yonder of freelance, part-time gigs, and really (really?) trying to make some kind of a living from making plush and other art.
It’s good to be scared.
On that note, I dropped off some stuff for the Bizarre Holiday Market in the upstairs gallery at Chop Suey Tuey last week. The market opened on Black Friday and I can only assume folks were beating down the doors to get their hands on this little gem:
I just finished 5 new button designs. That makes a new edition. These will be in production shortly are bagged, tagged, and ready to order in the Etsy shop.
In mid-December, I’ll be at the Richmond Craft Mafia Handmade Holiday Craft Show hawking my wares.
That’s all for now. Ciao!

Wow, for real?! Best of luck, man. Or as they say here, “Fuerza”, which is cool cuz it’s literally (and I literally mean literally) like saying “May the force be with you.” Meggers too, or just you? Incidentally, do you make your monsters into computer backgrounds? :)
I can’t wait to come back to the states so I can buy something.

Fuerza! That’s awesome.
You know, I have never made my art into desktops, but I think I’m going to have to now.
